Our professional team possesses over 92 years of combined experience with degrees ranging from Business Administration to Public Relations.
 Vedat Aboush - President/CEO
Vedat Aboush is President and Chief Executive Officer of the various Renaissance Developments organizations. Having vast experience and expertise in real estate construction, development and management, Vedat formed the Renaissance Developments in April 1990. Vedat's extensive knowledge of the real estate industry coupled with his financial and business experience provide Renaissance Developments with the insightful strategic advantage and vision. His educational background includes Master of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and his work experience includes having served as Regional Business Manager for a global corporation.
Nikki Schmidt- Company Manager
Nikki graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2008. She is in charge of the leasing for all Renaissance condos around UT's campus. She oversees accounts payable and receivable, payroll, advertising, tenant satisfaction and property management. In addition, Nikki has continued her real estate efforts, being an Affiliate Broker for Renaissance Real Estate group. She continues to play an instrumental role for Renaissance Investments Inc. and Renaissance IV Inc.
Rachel Cobb- Company Intern
Rachel is a senior at the University of Tennessee . She joined our team in August 2010 as our company's intern. She assists in daily operations, entering rental income from all properties and leasing condos at Renaissance IV. Rachel's role has a great impact on Renaissance IV Inc. and the success of our company.
Vicky Smelcer - Leasing Associate
With more than 15 years of real estate experience, Vicky manages all units in Jefferson City and Morristown, Tennessee. She is in charge of all aspects of leasing and day-to-day functioning of more than 38 townhouses. In addition, Vicky oversees all advertising, tenant satisfaction, accounts receivable, and property management in Jefferson City and Morristown, TN.
Gary Nicely - Director of Development & Construction
Gary has 40 years experience in residential and commercial construction. Since working with Renaissance, Gary has been responsible for more than $25 million in development and construction. His work has earned him numerous awards, including Renaissance II’s Award of Excellence. Gary leads his team with a strong worth ethic and high quality workmanship.
Mike Harris - Project Manager
With more than 10 years of hands-on construction management, Mike understands all aspects of construction and oversees all functioning on the job sites. He ensures quality and excellence within each project development. His expertise provides Renaissance with a dependable and superior workforce.
